- Knowing that a lot of tights are worn once and then discarded, founders Nadja Forsberg and Linn Frisinger wanted to prevent this cycle from happening—Swedish Stockings are sustainably produced using recycled nylon and save textile waste from going to landfill.
- Garments are made in a family owned factory near Lake Garda in Italy under a zero waste production process, using eco-friendly dyes, and driven primarily by solar panels—proudly reducing the energy required for production by almost 90%!
- The yarn is dyed with colours that are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, and the water used during the colouring process is recycled, purified and reused. The factory is also certified by ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Recycled nylon yarn is produced by Nilit Ecocare using nylon by-products, and Swedish Stockings encourage you to send them your old pairs of any brand for recycling!
