- Founded in 2012 by Julieta Racket, Nido started out as an accessories label that has since extended into unisex knitwear for adults and kids.
- Based in Buenos Aires, each garment is hand knitted with 100% hand spun and hand dyed sheep’s wool sourced from Argentina—including Merino and Corriedale sheep, as well as llama and goat mohair.
- Producing only in small batches, Nido chooses to work with local Argentinian women who have inherited traditional artisanal knitting techniques and processes, honouring the tools and knowledge from generations past.
- Nido launched the Nido School in 2016 to teach textile crafts. It is through this school they hope to preserve artisanal techniques through workshops of knitting, felting, and dyeing.
