What's noteworthy

  • Designer and jeweller Courtney Jamieson carves, cuts and completely hand makes all Marama Jewellery pieces in her Christchurch studio.
  • All materials are sourced in New Zealand, including locally sourced stones like Pounamu, taking pride in the traditional stone carving craftsmanship of the Māori people.
  • Other local stones such as Greywacke and Obsidian volcanic glass are collected by Courtney herself from the Coromandel region and along the shoreline of New Zealand.
  • Recycled metals are used where possible, such as sterling silver, as well as alluvial gold sourced from New Zealand beaches. You can read more about the material used in Marama Jewellery collections on their website.
